The Elixir Of Life – Water – Made From Air
It is more precious than gold and according to National Geographic nearly 70 percent of the world is covered by water, yet only 2.5 percent of it is fresh. The rest is saline and ocean-based. Only just 1 percent of our freshwater is easily accessible, with much of it trapped in glaciers and snowfields. In essence, only 0.007 percent of the planet’s water is available to fuel and feed its 6.8 billion people.
Water is the essence of life and without it, life would cease to exist. Every living organism needs it on earth and yet we continue to pollute this very limited resource. According to the United Nations, water use has grown at more than twice the rate of population increase in the last century. By 2025, an estimated 1.8 billion people will live in areas plagued by water scarcity, with two-thirds of the world’s population living in water-stressed regions as a result of use, growth, and climate change. The challenge we now face as we head into the future is how to effectively conserve, manage, and distribute the water we have.
Water Solutions:
What do we present as a solution to this problem? Atmospheric Water Generators which harvests moisture from the air and produces purified, drinkable water. At Airwell, we’re proud to be in the forefront of this revolutionary movement. Our products are world class and are known to create the freshest and most purified drinkable water there is.
Applications:
Our Atmospheric Water Generators produce water that is fit for consumption in any human environment. Applications include Homes Commercial Buildings, Office Parks, Schools, Colleges, Universities, Industrial Building, Municipal Buildings and Mining Operations.
How does it work?
The atmospheric water generators harvest moisture from the air by drawing air into the water generator and cooling it, causing the natural moisture in the air to condense. Condensed water is collected and passed through an advanced filtration process that removes any impurities. Therefore, producing an unlimited supply of high-quality drinking water from a sustainable source.
Water Management
In South Africa, and the Western Cape in particular, it has become very apparent that water from our dams is a limited resource. Even though the dam levels have fluctuated in recent years, the drought the province faced showed us that other alternatives should be implemented. Creating water from air is the solution that will benefit everyone, from businesses, individuals to the entire country.
